A bit about me...
Hi, I’m Laura
I know what it’s like to be successful on paper and still wonder, is this really how I want my life to feel?
For more than 25 years, I worked across publishing, retail and finance, eventually becoming a senior leader in a high-pressure, highly regulated environment. I built a career I was proud of. I was promoted after both of my maternity leaves, managed a team of eight and was responsible for a £130m-a-year portfolio.
From the outside, I was doing pretty well.
Inside, I was exhausted.

The long hours, constant pressure and never-ending list of things to do were starting to spill into home life. I was there physically, though I didn't have much energy left for me two young children, let alone my husband.
And eventually, I realised something had to change.
With the help of my own coach, I started to understand that the answer wasn't simply finding another job. I needed to work out what actually made me feel fulfilled, what I was naturally good at, what mattered to me and what I wanted my life to look like alongside my career.
That experience changed everything.
It also made me realise that this is the work I was meant to do.
Because I don't believe you should have to choose between being successful at work and being present for your family.
Now, as a qualified Career & Mental Fitness Coach, I help successful working parents work out what they really want from their career, reconnect with the strengths that make them brilliant at what they do, and create a career that works with the rest of their life, not against it.
Whether you're questioning the career you've built, desperate for a change, thinking about your next step or simply wondering whether work is really supposed to feel like this, you're in the right place.
I won't help you squeeze yourself into another career that looks good on paper.
I'll help you build one around who you actually are.
Because your career matters.
So does everything waiting for you when you get home.
